AW8, formally known as Acewin8, has been active since 2018. In that time, it built one of the widest sports betting catalogues in Southeast Asia and a game library of 1,500+ titles. Two things set it apart from comparable platforms: a minimum deposit of just MYR 20, and five separate sportsbook providers running simultaneously under one login.
Fernando Torres – Liverpool, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker, 85 international goals for Spain, FIFA World Cup winner – has been AW8’s international brand ambassador since the 2020/21 season. That partnership reflects the platform’s football-first positioning. However, AW8 has since expanded to 50+ sports, covering everything from NBA basketball through to billiards and table tennis.

Torres signed as AW8’s international ambassador for the 2020/21 season. His career record is straightforward: 346 club goals, 85 international goals, FIFA World Cup winner (2010), two UEFA Euro titles, UEFA Champions League winner (2012). His recognition across Southeast Asia – where European football commands a large following – made him a credible choice for a football-led platform.
In practice, the Torres partnership drives AW8’s football coverage. EPL, La Liga and Champions League markets run with the depth you would expect from a platform that made football central to its identity. That said, AW8 has expanded well beyond football since then. The 50+ sports offering now covers niche categories that most competitors do not.
AW8’s Malaysian operations run through AW8 Distribution (M) Sdn Bhd, a registered Malaysian entity. This local structure confirms AW8’s formal presence in the market rather than simply targeting Malaysian players from an offshore domain. It handles local payment partnerships, Malaysian player support and domestic business compliance.
AW8 is the trading name for Acewin8, an online gaming platform founded in 2018 and focused on Southeast Asia. It covers Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam under a single brand. Each regional version uses local currency and local payment methods. The Malaysian version at aw88.my operates in MYR.
Beyond the main AW8 platform, AW8 Pro operates as a subbrand through the affiliate network. Same games, same licences, same withdrawal process. Players who registered through AW8 Pro use the same login credentials as the main platform.

AW8’s library splits into eight categories: Slots, Live Casino, Sports Betting, Fishing, Poker, E-Sports, 3D Games and Lottery. The slot section alone draws from 11+ providers, including Pragmatic Play, Microgaming, Red Tiger, JILI, FA Chai and 918Kiss.
The live casino runs on 14+ providers simultaneously – Evolution Gaming, SA Gaming, Sexy Baccarat, Dream Gaming, WM Casino, Allbet and others. Bet limits range from MYR 5 on standard baccarat tables to MYR 50,000+ on high-roller live rooms.
Sports betting integrates five independent sportsbook providers. On the same fixture, you can compare odds across CMD368, SBOBET and Maxbet before placing. That structural advantage is rare in this market.
